Who Can Get Help

Young people with many different concerns can get help at MATC

If a young person you know has these problems, MATC may be able to help:

  • talking about suicide
  • changes in behaviour or personality
  • changes in relationships with family or friends
  • extreme mood swings
  • extreme sadness or depression
  • hearing or seeing things that do not exist
  • social isolation and withdrawal
  • extreme fearfulness or panic
  • severe reaction to an incident or crisis
  • distress because of abuse
  • aggressive or destructive behaviours
  • serious problems at school

MATC provides a range of mental health services to children and adolescents who experience psychiatric and/or emotional disorders.

MATC strives to be sensitive, responsive and innovative in meeting the changing needs of children, adolescents, families and communities.
