Our Programs & Services

MATC provides a range of mental health services to children and adolescents who experience psychiatric and/or emotional disorders. A full continuum of programs and services, both community and hospital based, are available to children, adolescents and their families. Services range from brief intervention to intensive long-term treatment. Treatment is provided from a variety of perspectives and is delivered in partnership with parents and collateral agencies.

CENTRALIZED INTAKE - CHILD & ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH

Centralized Intake provides a single point of entry for all services in the WRHA Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program. This service enables clients and families to access the appropriate programs and services based on the individual needs of the client and their family. Referrals for services can be made by families, caregivers, self-referrals, physicians, mental health professions and other service providers.

CENTALIZED INTAKE - YOUTH ADDICTIONS

Youth Addictions Centralized Intake Service is a Provincial service that offers information and support to parents regarding the Youth Drug Stabilization (Support for Parents) Act. It serves to provide information regarding addiction services for youth in Manitoba.

ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER SERVICE

The ADHD Service provides consultation, assessment and treatment to children and youth with a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

COMMUNITY CHILD & ADOLESCENT TREATMENT SERVICES

The Community Child and Adolescent Treatment Services program provides community based mental health treatment services for Winnipeg children, youth and their families.

EARLY CHILDHOOD CLINIC

Early Childhood Services provides assessment and brief treatment for families and children under the age of 5 years.

EARLY PSYCHOSIS PREVENTION & INTERVENTION SERVICE

The Early Psychosis Prevention and Intervention Service identifies, supports and treats individuals between the ages of 13 to 35 years who are experiencing or recovering from a first episode of psychosis.

INTENSIVE TREATMENT SERVICES

Intensive Treatment Service provides intensive treatment interventions with inpatient, day hospital and follow-up services for youth and their families from Manitoba and the North.

NEURODEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES

Neurodevelopmental Services and Neurodevelopmental Autism Services works in partnership with many community agencies and services to provide a variety of psychiatric services for children with developmental disabilities and complex multi-diagnostic issues.

STUDENT MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCE TEAM

The Student Mental Health Resource Team provides a variety of services to families and services in collaboration with school divisions.

YOUTH FORENSIC SERVICES

Youth Forensic Services provides psychiatric and psychological assessments and brief treatment services for youth involved with the Youth Justice System, including Manitoba Courts, Manitoba Youth Centre, Agassiz Youth Centre and community based Probation Services.

TELEHEALTH SERVICE

MATC has developed telehealth sites at the 120 Tecumseh and 228 Maryland Street locations to provide child and adolescent psychiatric consultation to Regional Health Authorities and rural consumers.
